What is Rosalume?
What is Rosalume?
A red (630nm) + near-infrared (830nm) LED face mask from a Perth-founded Australian brand, sold at $349 with a 2-year warranty. It's a cosmetic device for the appearance of skin — the same core wavelength pairing as the $600+ premium masks, with our output specs published and independently verified.
Do LED face masks actually work?
Do LED face masks actually work?
Red and near-infrared light have a genuine evidence base for skin appearance — the look of fine lines, tone and freshness — built over decades, first in clinics and now at home. The honest caveats: results build over 8–12 weeks of consistent use (3–5 sessions a week), they're gradual rather than dramatic, and anyone promising visible change in days is selling, not informing.
Is it safe? What about my eyes?
Is it safe? What about my eyes?
Rosalume uses red (630nm) and near-infrared (830nm) light only — no blue-light mode. That matters for eye safety: blue light is the wavelength that draws the most eye-safety scrutiny, and red and near-infrared light like ours falls in the safest category ("Exempt Group") under the international photobiological safety standard, IEC 62471.
The mask includes soft eye cups that shield your eyes from the light, so you can keep them open and relax — read, scroll or unwind — during your session.
Please check with your doctor first if you take medication that increases light sensitivity (some antibiotics, acne medications such as isotretinoin, and others), have a photosensitive condition, have an eye condition or recent eye surgery, or are pregnant.
Does it treat acne, rosacea or other conditions?
Does it treat acne, rosacea or other conditions?
No. Rosalume is a cosmetic device for the appearance of skin. It is not a medical device, it isn't listed on the ARTG, and it doesn't treat any medical condition. If you're managing a skin condition, please talk to your GP or dermatologist — whatever any light-mask marketing tells you.

What about warranty and returns?
What about warranty and returns?
Every mask carries a 2-year warranty against defects — repair, replace or refund, handled from Perth. You also have rights under Australian Consumer Law that no store policy can reduce.
On top of that, there's a 60-day money-back guarantee: use it 3–5 times a week and if you're not happy with how your skin looks, contact us within 60 days of delivery for a full refund.
For hygiene reasons we can't accept change-of-mind returns on opened masks; unopened masks in original packaging can be returned within 30 days. Full detail in our returns policy at checkout.
Who's behind Rosalume?
Who's behind Rosalume?
A Perth-founded independent Australian business that thought a $600 price tag deserved published specs to justify it — and when we couldn't find that, built the alternative. More on the About page.
